Description

Here is a piece of driftwood which was found on the coast of the Isle of Wight, I kept it for a few weeks to make sure it was dry then I drilled a hole in it and covered it in silver foil, it was then sanded to give it a distressed look and so the wood would show through, after it was sanded I varnished it, I then wrapped it with reclaimed electrical copper wire. I have attached it to brown cord which is adjustable in length. This pendant measures approx 80x10mm.

All driftwood used in my jewellery is found either by myself or friends and family around the UK coast - mainly on the south coast or Cornwall, using driftwood means each item I have made is completely unique.
