LepidoliteLepidolite has only become widely available in the last few decades, it is pink/purple/white/greyish and is a transarent to translucent mineral with a pearly, slightly grainy appearance, . It forms in igneous rock such as granite & pegmatite. Lepidolite is often associated with tourmaline. It has a hardness of 2.5-3. The colour of lepidolite may darken slightly over time.
