Garnet
Garnet is a mixture of minerals resulting in a wide range of colours although it is best known as a red/brown which is called pyrope. Every colour has a different name (Almandine, Andradite, Grossularite, Hessonite, Melanite, Pyrope, Rhodolite, Spessartite, Uvarovite).
Garnet inspires love and devotion. It balances the sex drive and alleviates emotional disharmony. This is a stone of commitment. It is particularly helpful in situations where there seems to be no way out or where life is traumatic. Crisis is turned into challange under Garnet's influence. It removes inhibitions and taboos.
It stimulates the metabolism, reenergizes the blood, heart and lungs, and regenerates DNA.
