Chrysocolla

This Mineral forms where copper is exposed to air and water.  Chrysocolla varies greatly depending on the elements and is rarely pure.  It is often found with other copper minerals such as azurite, malachite and turquoise.

Pure chrysocolla is very soft unless mixed with other minerals such as quartz, chalcedony or opal.

Chrysocolla is said to -
