Bloodstone
Bloodstone is essentially green quartz that has the addition of red, brown or yellow jasper specks creating distinct blood-red markings against a deep green base. Medieval Christians often used bloodstone to carve scenes of the of the crucifixion and martyrs, leading to it also be dubbed the martyrs stone. This is an excellent grounding and protecting stone, Bloodstone gives courage, selflessness and enhances the decision-making process. It reduces irritability, aggressiveness and impatience.
