Description Flat oval kyanite beads with small round lapis lazuli beads, this bracelet measures approx 7 inches in length. Kyanite forms in thin, blade like crystals and is found in metamorphic rock.  It can be found in Austria, France, Italy and Russia but most samples come from Brazil.  Its hardness depends on the direction in which a crystal is stressed. Kyanite comes in many colours from blue-white to pink, green yellow, grey and black. Gem quality slices resemble apatite or sapphire. Kyanite does not hold on to negativity and cuts through fears and blockages. It dispels illusion, anger, frustration and stress, and slices through confusion.  Kyanite encourages self-expression and communication. Lapis Lazulis history stretches back over 5,000 years, it was prized by the pharaohs of ancient Egypt.  It is made up of several different minerals, including lazurite, sodalite, hauyne, calcite and pyrite.  This stone is usually found in boulders or within limestones.  The best quality Lapis is found in Afghanistan but can also be found in Argentina, Chile, Canada and the USA.  Genuine Lapis Lazuli has a whitish glow when held under ultraviolet light.
