Amber

Although not actually a stone or crystal, but fossilized resin from coniferous trees, amber has been used for thousands of years as a precious gem. Mainly sourced from South American and the Baltic coasts of Europe it can be found all over the world as it is light enough to float on water.

Amber has strong connections with the earth and is a grounding stone, it is said to -
- absorb negative energies and transform them into positive forces
- stimulate the intellect
- clear depression
- bring balance & patience
- encourage decision-making
- be a useful memory aid
